Shipping & Returns

For domestic (U.S.A.) customers:

Economy shipping within the United States is now handled by UPS Ground. Due to numerous delivery problems and lost shipments, books are no longer being shipped by Media Mail. If you require delivery to a Post Office Box, please select USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express from the post office. UPS GROUND IS generally the fastest shipping method within the NYC Tri-state region! Priority Mail will be faster to the west coast, and Priority Mail Express is generally overnight everywhere in the U.S., but at a significantly higher cost.

Returned packages

If you provided a wrong or incomplete address (i.e. forgetting to include an apartment number, wrong street address, bad ZIP code, etc), there is a $15 reship fee.

International Shipping

Shipping heavy items like books out of the United States is expensive, even by first class mail. Economy delivery has a good track record but it is not traceable once it leaves the U.S. Postal Service's hands. First Class international mail can take up to 6 weeks to be delivered! Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express are better options, but at higher cost. And unlike First Class international, they are also insured and trackable. If you require UPS, FedEx, DHL or other express delivery please contact our offices at +1 973-228-5848 during normal business hours (9am-6pm New York City time). Shipping via these methods can be quite expensive, and involve brokerage fees and import duties by your government!

Shipping Insurance:

Shipping insurance is included with all shipments at no additional cost for the full value of the contents.

Taxes, duties, etc.

Packages are shipped as "merchandise" for customs purposes, with the full purchase price listed on the customs forms along with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule code (4901.99.00.50) . You are responsible for any and all taxes, import fees, tariffs, duties, brokerage fees or any other amount charged upon import by your government. We will neither collect nor remit any taxes not required under United States law.

EU/UK Restrictions

Customers from Great Britain can purchase books from RON'S BOOKS (www.ronsbooks.com). I am not able to process orders from the U.K. directly via this site.

EU customers please be advised that I will not collect and remit VAT under European IOSS regulations. If you purchase from this site you may be charged VAT and potentially other fees by your country's government at import, or be required to pick it up at your post office.

No Refunds/returns

Since books are personalized and manufactured on-demand there are no refunds or returns once the book has been mailed to you. If you have ordered accidentally or your order has errors it can be cancelled and fully refunded before shipment.
